Xilinx ZYNQ SOC processing module adopts the 7Z100-2FFG900 core unit in the Xilinx Zynq®-7000 All
Programmable SoC series processor which is optimized for power consumption and maximum design flexibility. The
dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor is integrated with Xilinx Kintex-7 programmable logic, providing highly
differentiated designs for various embedded applications.
This core board uses 4 Micron 512MB DDR3 chips MT41K256M16TW-107, with a total capacity of 2GB.
Two pieces are mounted on each of the PS and PL ends, forming a 32-bit bus width. The maximum operating
speed of DDR3 SDRAM on the PS side can reach 667MHz (data rate 1333Mbps), and the maximum operating
speed of DDR3 SDRAM on the PL side can reach 800MHz (data rate 1600Mbps). In addition, the core board also
integrates two 512MBit QSPI FLASH chips for booting storage configurations and system files.
The module extracts all 44 user MIOs from the PS section and the remaining 286 user I/Os from the PL
section to two sets of 400PIN 2.0mm board to board connectors at the top and bottom of the board. Users can
achieve hardware design of the entire system by designing a simple motherboard, thereby improving design
efficiency, ensuring product stability, and reducing design risks.
The main parameters of the PS system are as follows:
-Application processor based on ARM dual core Cortex-A9, ARM-v7 architecture up to 800MHz -32KB
level 1 instruction and data cache per CPU, 512KB level 2 cache shared by 2 CPUs
-On chip boot ROM and 256KB on-chip RAM
-External storage interface, supporting 16/32-bit DDR2 and DDR3 interfaces
-Two Gigabit Ethernet cards support: Divergent Aggregation DMA, GMII, RGMII, SGMII interfaces
-Two USB 2.0 OTG interfaces, each supporting up to 12 nodes
-Two CAN2.0B bus interfaces
-Two SD cards, SDIO, MMC compatible controllers
-2 SPI, 2 UARTs, 2 I2C interfaces
-54 multifunctional IO configurations that can be software configured as regular IO or peripheral control
interfaces
-High bandwidth connections within PS and PS to PL
